TS: When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

MGW: Around age 8 or 9. I always loved to read and express myself.

TS: How long does it take you to write a book?

MGW: Around 2-3 years. Truthfully, it depends on the book. I also like to write plays, which go faster.

TS: What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

MGW: I like to find songs that fit the mood of the story I’m writing.

TS: How do books get published?

MGW: Either traditionally via corporate publishing houses or self-publishing. Self-publishing is easier.

MGW: Everywhere – From films, news and the contents of my restless imagination.

TS: When did you write your first book and how old were you?

MGW: I was in my early twenties.

TS: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

MGW: I’m a huge lover of nature and animals. Also, I love to read and watch interesting films.

TS: What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your book/s?

MGW: How challenging EDITING can be. Next time around, I will hire someone to help.

TS: How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

MGW: I’ve written three, and only published LIGHTMASTERS: Number 13.

TS: Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

MGW: Overall, the reviews on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Good Reads have been positive.

TS: What do you think makes a good story?

MGW: Interesting characters, an original plot and an awesome location.

TS: As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

MGW: I always wanted to be in the arts. I’m a painter, writer and have done theater/acting/singing.

Thank you very much for the time to answer the questions MG! Great read. I wish you all the best and good luck with your future projects! 🙂
